The Commonwealth Court Historical Society was created in 2007 as a nonprofit, nonstock, corporation to educate the public about the Commonwealth Court’s history and preserve the Court’s heritage and contribution to Pennsylvania jurisprudence since 1970. The Historical Society is involved in various activities through its committees, including the website committee, the membership committee, the archives committee, the scholarship committee, and the speakers committee.
The Historical Society welcomes new members, lawyers, and nonlawyers and encourages their participation in its many activities.
Anyone interested in joining the Historical Society may do so by completing and mailing the “Membership Application Form,” along with a check in the amount of $25, If you are a lawyer or a judge, the fee is $50, (payable to “Commonwealth Court Historical Society”) to the Society’s Treasurer, Vincent Mancini, Esq., 414 East Baltimore Pike, Media, PA 19063.
The CCHS is an exempt organization as described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
